Finnish player Jani Vilmunen has won one World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) bracelet and amassed over $570K in career tournament earnings. He is a regular at the highest stakes ring games, including at Bobby’s Room in Las Vegas, and is considered one of the best Pot-Limit Omaha players on the circuit.

Jani’s interest in card games started at a young age, when he played Finnish 5-Card Stud with his family. In 1998, he discovered poker and was immediately hooked. He built his bankroll by playing Pot-Limit Omaha ring games, both live and online. Jani recently made a huge splash on the online poker scene, taking on some of the biggest names in poker under the online handle "KObyTAPOUT".

Jani has also made his mark on the tournament scene. At the 2006 WSOP, he reached the final table of the $10K Pot-Limit Omaha event, finishing in 7th place for over $81K. In 2008, he cashed in the WSOP Main Event for a $32K payday. Later that year, he won the €1K Pot-Limit Omaha event at the Finnish Open Championships, taking home over $53K.

In 2009, Jani won his first WSOP bracelet and more than $336K by taking down the £5K Pot-Limit Omaha event at the WSOP Europe in London. He also cashed in the €3.2K No-Limit Hold 'em Main Event at the Irish Open that same year.
