Rush Poker* Tournaments
Available exclusively at Full Tilt Poker, enter a Rush Poker* Tournament to experience the world’s fastest poker tournament.
When you play a Rush Poker* Tournament, you’ll be part of a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. When you fold your hand, you’ll immediately be moved to a new table for your next hand.
When there are less than 30 players left in the tournament, tables will become short-handed to ensure that the pace of game remains as fast as possible. When the final table of the tournament is reached, the tournament will switch to the “standard” tournament mode and hands will be played one at a time until the tournament is complete.

How to Find a Rush Poker* Tournament
Rush Poker* Tournaments can be found in both Standard View and Basic View of the Full Tilt Poker game lobby.
In Standard View, select Tournament in the browse area at the top of the lobby:
A list of upcoming tournaments will appear in the game list below the browse area. Rush Poker* Tournaments are denoted with the black R symbol:
You can use the Advanced Filters in Standard View to refine your search and only list Rush Poker* Tournaments:

You can also use Basic View of the Full Tilt Poker game lobby to find a Rush Poker* Tournament. Start by selecting Tournament in Step 2, then choose your tournament Category and Buy-In in Steps 3 and 4:
When you get to Step 5, a list of upcoming tournaments will appear. Find your Rush Poker* Tournament and click the Register Now button to join the action.

How to Play a Rush Poker* Tournament
Registering for a Rush Poker* Tournament
Registration for a Rush Poker* Tournament works the same as a standard tournament. Once you’re in a Rush Poker* Tournament lobby, click the Register Now button:
This will open the buy-in screen, where you will confirm your registration:
Playing a Rush Poker* Tournament
When the tournament begins, game play will be in “Rush Mode”, with the same style of play found in a Rush Poker* ring game. You’ll be part of a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. Once you fold your hand, you’ll be rushed off to the next table for a new hand.
To speed up play even more, use the Quick Fold button at the bottom of the Rush Poker* Tournament table:
When you Quick Fold, you’ll be taken to the next table immediately – even if the action hasn’t reached you yet. Players at your previous table will not see that you’ve folded until it’s your turn to act. Please note that when you press the Quick Fold button, the action cannot be undone. Posting Blinds
As with standard tournaments, posting of the blinds is completely random on the first hand of play. After that, the big blind and small blind are assigned to the players who have gone the longest without posting.
If there is a tie for who has gone the longest without posting, the blind will be randomly assigned to one of the tied players. All other seating positions are completely random from hand to hand. See the Rush Poker* Tournaments FAQ for more information about posting blinds.
Short-Handed Play
As players are eliminated from the tournament, tables will become short-handed to keep the tournament in “Rush Mode” and ensure that game play does not slow down. When there are fewer than 30 players left in a Rush Poker* Tournament, tables will start to play short-handed.
For example, when there are 28 players left in a standard nine-handed Rush Poker* Tournament, tables will become eight-handed. As the final table approaches, tables will become more short-handed.
While the tournament is in “Rush Mode”, there is no hand-for-hand play at the money bubble or any pay jumps. See the Rush Poker* Tournaments FAQ for more information about short-handed play.
The Final Table
Once the final table of a Rush Poker* Tournament is reached, game play will switch from “Rush Mode” to “Standard Mode” and play will continue as it would in any standard tournament. Hands will be played one at a time until the tournament has ended.
Please note that while player observation is not available when a tournament is in “Rush Mode”, it is available when the final table is reached and the tournament is in “Standard Mode”.
